In addition to assisting you with design selections, Laverne can help you find a general contractor or subcontractors for cabinetry, countertops, flooring, wallcoverings and window treatments, as well as painters, electricians, plumbers and upholsterers. He can coordinate all installations to make the entire experience seamless and ensure the completed project matches your vision.

During this meeting, he will seek to understand your needs, lifestyle, design goals, budget and personal taste. Because design projects are highly personal, it is important for both the client and the designer to determine whether the chemistry is right to move forward. There is absolutely no obligation for either party to proceed.

  • Ready to take the next step? After a letter of agreement is signed, Laverne charges a modest retainer to cover 10 hours of his time, which are used to assess the scope of the design project, take measurements, and research design options. He will provide you with a detailed project proposal, which will include multiple options and detailed information about pricing, dimensions, and availability. Prices are all-inclusive; no extra charges or delivery fees will appear on invoices. Laverne seeks to find the optimal balance in style, functionality and affordability based on each client’s unique design goals.
